South Union Christian Church
COVID-19 Service Procedures
These procedures have been recommended by state and county officials to help keep us all safe. Please read the list below and feel free to contact the church office with any questions or concerns you may have.
Doors will open 15 minutes prior to service start times.
Staff and volunteers will be wearing face masks.
Masks are recommended but will NOT be provided at the church.
Entry and exit doors will be propped open.
Hand sanitizer stations will be located near each door of the sanctuary.
Communion kits will be available on tables near the sanctuary doors. These are individually packaged with juice and a cracker.
Social distancing guidelines are being followed with the chairs in the sanctuary.
Offering boxes are located near the doors of the sanctuary. Online giving will continue as an option (southunioncc.com/give).
Exiting the building at the end of service will take a little time as we work to maintain social distancing.
We are asking for any fellowship time to take place outside away from the doors and that people do not congregate in the halls, foyer, or sanctuary before/after service.
The building is being cleaned after each use.
Service will continue to be streamed online as normal for those that prefer to stay home at this time.
We know this is not ideal and will take some time to get used to. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation as we work hard to provide a safe environment for everyone!
