Everyone is welcome here

No matter who you are, no matter what you have or don't have, no matter what you have or haven't done, all are welcome here without judgment. We read, teach, and seek to practice the truth of the Bible, God’s Holy Word. That will mean encouragement some days, instruction some days, and rebuke some days. We will teach and encourage all who come here to hold to and live out the clear teachings of God’s Holy Word.

Our Mission:

In unity, win and commit people to Jesus Christ, training them for service in His Kingdom.

  • Unity (Ephesians 4:13)

  • Committing People to Jesus (Matt. 28:18-20)

  • Training (Ephesians 4:16)

WHAT WE BELIEVE

In matters of doctrine we will have unity. In matters of opinion we will have freedom

But in all things we will show love.

  • The Bible is the inspired Word of God. It is without error. It is a love letter from God to each of us with instruction on how to do life.

    ( 1 Cor. 2:7-14, 2 Timothy 3:16, 1 Peter 1:20-21)

    • God exists eternally in three persons - Father, Son and Holy Spirit. (Matt. 28:19, John 14:16-26)

    • God is the only true God and sole creator of this world and the universe. (Gen. 1:1-2:25, John 1:1-4)

    • Because of His great love for us, God sent His Son Jesus Christ into the world to save sinners by His atoning death on Calvary. (Isaiah 53:1-6, John 3:16, Romans 5:8, Eph. 1:3-6)

    • Jesus in the flesh was both God and man.

    • He was born of a virgin and lived a sinless life.

    • He revealed the heart and mind of God in His teaching and performed miracles exactly as they are described in the Bible.

    • He was crucified, died as the penalty for our sins and was raised from the dead, bodily, on the third day.

    • He ascended to the Father. He is the head of the church and intercedes for all believers.

    • He is coming again personally, bodily, and visibly to this earth.

    (Phil. 2:5-8, Luke 1:26-35, Hebrews 4:4-15, 1 Peter 2:21-24, 1 Cor. 15:3-5, Acts 1:9-11, Eph. 1:18-23, 1 Thess. 4:15-16, John 14:1-6)

    • Our relationship with God has been broken by our sin.

    • We can be restored to a relationship with God only through the sacrificial blood of Jesus Christ. Apart from Christ, we remain eternally separated from God, and hell is that place where He is not.

    • We can come back to God based only on God’s grace. We can not earn it.

    • God invites us all to accept his gift of grace through faith in Jesus Christ.

    • The model for this in the Bible is:

      • repentance (life direction change)

      • confession (that Jesus is Lord)

      • baptism by immersion

    (John 3:1-21, Acts 2:37-39, 8:26-39, 10:1-48, 16:11-34, 22:2-16, Romans 3:21-31, 5:6-11, 6:1-23, 1 Cor. 6:9-11, 15:1-58, Gal. 3:13-14, Eph. 2:8-9, Hebrews 9:11-14, 10:10-13, 1 Peter 3:18, 1 John 1:8-10)

    • The Holy Spirit lives by promise in the life of the Christian as God’s pledge and seal of salvation.

      (John 16:8-15, Acts 2:38, 5:3-4, Romans 8 & 9)

    • The Christian is enabled to grow in spiritual maturity through obedience to the Word of God by the indwelling Spirit.

      (Eph. 4:11-16, Col. 1:9-12, 3:12-17)

    • At death, the Christian’s spirit departs to be with Jesus Christ. At the return of our Lord, our bodies will be raised to the likeness of His resurrected Body and we will live forever in His divine presence in heaven.

      (Luke 16:19-31)

    • The only way to produce fruit for the Kingdom is to stay connected to the True Vine, which is Jesus Christ.

      (John 15:1-17)

It was He who gave some to be apostles, some to be prophets, some to be evangelists, and some to be pastors and teachers, to prepare God’s people for works of service, so that the Body of Christ may be built up until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of fullness of Christ. Then we will no longer be infants, tossed back and forth by the waves, and blown here and there by every wind of teaching and by the cunning and craftiness of men in their deceitful scheming. Instead, speaking the truth in love, we will in all things grow up into Him who is the Head, that is, Christ. From Him the whole Body, joined and held together every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does its work.
