South Union Christian Church
MISSIONS Ministry

To assist our church in teaching and practicing Matthew 28:19-20 NIV:
"Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."

Mission of the Month

Each month we select a different local mission, charity or ministry to support. We encourage our church attendees to bring in and donate items that are needed. A collection box is located in the foyer at all times to drop off items.

May 2018: Hands & Feet Street Ministry and Open Arms

Our donations for this month will go to supply small items to be placed in a gift bag for the homeless. We are partnering with area churches to provide different items for the bags. Our request is for snack pack pudding cups and toothpaste. Our goal is to obtain 70 of both items.

We are also collecting toilet paper and paper towels for Open Arms.

Our Mission's Ministry is raising money for a summer mission trip to Show Low, Arizona, home of the White Mountain Apache Indian Reservation.  This mission team of 12-20 volunteers help to staff the White Mountain Apache Church, lead VBS, minister to adults in small groups and do work projects that help maintain or improve this impoverished area of our own country. Please, donate what you can to help more individuals join us.  It is estimated to be a $700 expense for each volunteer.  Donations can be made directly to South Union Christian Church but please state in the memo line, "For Arizona Mission Trip". You can also visit their Go Fund Me page to make an online donation. Thank you for your support!
