south union christian church
We consider it a privilege to invest into every young life. We don't believe that kids ministry should be a babysitting service, but a platform for developing foundations that will set our kids up for God's very best for them.
kids classes & Curriculum
- Nursery (infant-2 years)
- 2s and 3s
- 4s, 5s and Kindergarten
- 1st-3rd grade
- 4th-6th grade (Club 456)
To locate your child's classroom, ask one of our friendly greeters at the door, or visit the welcome center desk in the foyer.
2s & 3s through 3rd grade use Tru Ministry. This curriculum does a wonderful job of tapping into the natural curiosity of this age group and invites them to experience the wonder of who God is.
Club 456 uses curriculum from Preteen Ministry that focuses on core Christian issues relevant to pre-teens. Some of our more recent series were on Bullying, The Book of Acts, Stress, Friendships, Back to School and Being Fearless.
Our Check-in and out Procedures
Your child's safety is one of our top priorities and we take it seriously! This is why we use an advanced check in system that allows us to have easy access to your child's information. This includes any allergies or health concerns we should be aware of and how to contact you if needed.
Upon picking up your child, you must present the security tag that is printed at check in for the teacher to release your child to you.
Your child must be registered before you can check them in. You can register your child online or visit the welcome center in the foyer, we have friendly greeters who will help quickly enter in the information needed and then check your child into their classroom.
Click the link below to register your child online. Please allow three business days for the information to be added to our check-in system.
Walk your child to their classroom, locate the check-in station outside of their classroom door. Enter any phone numbers that you provided on your child's registration form to get started.
Follow the on screen directions and when you're finished, name tags and a security tag will print. For children in the nursery through 2s & 3s, please place the name tag on their back side. All other children, place the name tag on their front side. If your child is checking into the nursery, there is an option to print an additional name tag for their diaper bag. Hold on to your security tag, you'll need this tag to pick your child up.
Give the teacher your security tag (even if the teacher knows who you are) then your child can be released to you. That's it!
