south union christian church
We consider it a privilege to invest into every young life. We don't believe that kids ministry should be a babysitting service, but a platform for developing foundations that will set our kids up for God's very best for them.
kids classes & Curriculum
- Nursery (infant-2 years)
- 2s and 3s
- 4s, 5s and Kindergarten
- 1st-3rd grade
- 4th-6th grade (Club 456)
To locate your child's classroom, ask one of our friendly greeters at the door, or visit the welcome center desk in the foyer.
2s & 3s through 3rd grade use Tru Ministry. This curriculum does a wonderful job of tapping into the natural curiosity of this age group and invites them to experience the wonder of who God is.
Club 456 uses curriculum from Preteen Ministry that focuses on core Christian issues relevant to pre-teens. Some of our more recent series were on Bullying, The Book of Acts, Stress, Friendships, Back to School and Being Fearless.
Our Check-in/out Procedures
Your child's safety is one of our top priorities and we take it seriously! This is why we use an advanced check in system that allows us to securely care for your child and provides us easy access to important health and contact information.
Your child must be registered before you can check them in. You can register online by clicking the "Register My Child" link below. If you prefer to fill out a paper copy, ask one of our friendly greeters at the welcome center in the foyer for the form. Once completed, return to your child's teacher.

“But the seed on good soil stands for those with a noble and good heart, who hear the word, retain it, and by persevering produce a crop.” Luke 8:15 NIV
Students will learn Bible lessons to “Grow the Kingdom” and learn valuable gardening skills aimed at helping to feed the local hungry. If you would like to learn more about how you can help contact Steven Stewart or Jackie Goss. Donations are being sought for gardening tools, supplies, use of land for small garden plots, and your time to help a garden grow.
Contact: Jackie Goss, Director of Children's Ministry
Mark your calendars! We are already working on planning and implementing! Contact Jackie if you want to be part of the behind the scenes process. There will be several projects people can work on from home before hand to help make this VBS a huge success!
