“Let Everything That Has Breath, Praise The Lord” Psalm 150:6

I hope you are all having an awesome summer!! The White’s are certainly having a great summer!! Bob and I are so enjoying our 17 month old granddaughter, Ava, and are very excited that she is going to become a BIG SISTER in January!! What a JOY it is to have Ava come running excitedly to Nana and Papa when she sees us!! Imagine God’s excitement 1000-fold when we come running excitedly to him seeking time with him!! I read a daily devotional book called “Jesus Calling” that is written as though Jesus was talking directly to you … recently my devotional was … “Seek My Face at the beginning of your day. This practice enables you to “put me on” and “wear Me” throughout the day. Most people put on clothes soon after arising from bed. Similarly, the sooner you “put Me on” by communicating with me, the better prepared you are for whatever comes your way.” What a difference it makes when we seek Jesus daily and “wear Him” throughout our day!! Colossians 3:12 says “Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience.”

In this season of appreciation, I just want to again say what a blessing this Worship Team is to me!! I also want to say a special thank you again to all of those who have helped with the stage work and re-wiring. So many people have worked hard and we appreciate you so much!! There is still more to be done, so if you are interested in helping, we would love to put you to work!! We have had some new people join the worship team recently, and we are so happy to have them!! If YOU would be interested in joining, we would LOVE to have you join as well!! The Worship Team practices Thursday evenings at 6:30 p.m. and Sunday mornings at 7:30 a.m. Come see what it’s all about! Remember, if you are more of a “behind the scenes” type, we also have a tech team for both sound and visual – no experience required – and training provided!!
